eBay Moments
Since I started on eBay’s seasonal creative team, I had the amazing opportunity to work on a number of high-visibility campaigns that marked some of the biggest moments of 2020. That included May the 4th for Star Wars fans, a Gaming Day celebration timed with the releases of the most popular games of the year, as well as the making the most out of the stay-at-home mandates that we have all grown so familiar with. They were amazing projects that pushed my creative concepting skills, sharpened my design eye, and reinforced everything that goes into a successful partnership and project.
May the Fourth
To celebrate the vastly loved Star Wars franchise on May 4th with both superfans and casual fans alike, I concepted and executed a single-day campaign for this special moment. This campaign focused on “bringing the galaxy home”, highlighted some of the franchise’s most loved and nostalgic characters, and featured merchandise that aligned to that year’s stay-at-home world. We wanted to spark joy in fans with action-packed, movie-inspired creative leveraging only product images found on eBay.

Homepage Takeover: Gaming
To highlight one of eBay’s biggest categories, we activated each homeplace placement in an overarching gaming-focused campaign. We wanted to speak to gamers and tech enthusiasts, so I designed assets for each space that integrated a playful 8-bit element and a rich, energetic color palette of reds and purples.

America at Home
Aware of how many people’s lives were going to be affected by the pandemic at the beginning of 2020, we decided to launch a few creative campaigns speaking to adapting to staying at home, whether that be setting up a new workspace or finding new ways to celebrate holiday milestones throughout the year. Peaceful, relaxing visual treatments highlighted the launch, followed up seasonally appropriate elements later on in the year when people are actively looking for those timely shopping opportunities.
